Ingram Digital Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the policy of Ingram Digital ("ID") regarding the privacy of information supplied by USERS of this website (the "SITE") or collected by ID from SITE USERS. ID intends to build USER trust and confidence in the SITE and is committed to protecting USER privacy.

User Information

The SITE server automatically recognizes the Internet URL from which a visitor is accessing the SITE. When one registers to become a SITE USER, ID may request certain credit reference information, and personal and confidential business information about the USER, such as, but not limited to, the registrant’s name, address, email address and phone number. ID may also log a USER’s IP address for system administration and troubleshooting purposes. (A USER’s IP address indicates the location of the USER’s computer on the Internet.)

Other than disclosing the information described within this privacy policy, to companies that are affiliated with ID, ID does not disclose a USER’s specific personal and confidential business information to third parties. ID does, however, identify a USER in connection with its use of certain aspects of the SITE. For example, ID may identify a USER with any posting USER makes to a discussion or any email message that a USER sends through the SITE.

Upon a USER’s request, ID will (a) remove a USER’s personal and confidential business information from ID’s database, thereby canceling the USER’s subscription to the SITE (if applicable); or (b) correct a USER’s personal and confidential business information that the USER states is erroneous.

Cookies

The SITE employs "cookies" to speed navigation of the Web site, recognize each USER and his or her access privileges, and track a USER’s site usage. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by a USER’s Internet browser on a USER’s computer’s hard drive. Most Internet browsers are initially set to accept cookies. A USER can set his or her browser to refuse cookies, but the USER will not be able to use the SITE. The SITE’s cookies do not have the capability of infiltrating a USER’s hard drive and gathering a USER’s personal and confidential business information.

Marketing

We use the services of a marketing company to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and how visitors use our site. To do this, we use Web beacons and cookies provided by our marketing company on this site. The type of information we collect includes page visits, paths and purchases. By supplementing our records, this information helps us better serve our customers. Although our marketing company logs the information coming from our site on our behalf, we control how that data may and may not be used. If you do not want to help us learn how to improve our site, products, offers and marketing strategy, you can "opt-out" of this web site analysis tool by emailing optout@ingramdigital.com. ID does not sell or rent any USER’s personal and confidential business information to any third party.

Other Parties

This Privacy Policy only addresses ID’s use and disclosure of information. To the extent that a USER discloses information to other parties through the SITE, please be aware that ID does not control such third parties’ privacy policies or their use of USER information. ID recommends that USERS ask those third parties about their privacy policies before disclosing any information to them.

Data Security

The SITE uses appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of a SITE USER’s personal and confidential business information, including Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") for financial transactions through the SITE. All financial data transferred to your browser is encrypted using the Internet protocol SSL which is a protocol designed to provide privacy between a Web client and a Web server by encrypting all data sent between a USER’s Web browser and the SITE’s server.

When accessing the SITE, your browser will display a "closed lock" or other symbol to inform you that SSL has been enabled. You can also tell because the Web site address will now start with "https://" rather than the usual "http://."
